<p>It may seem a little old fashioned these days to consider such and thing  and cost can be a deterrent. But let us consider for a moment.<br /> <br /> It will be unique and personal, last a life time &amp; beyond, certainly something to bequest to future generations.<br /> <br /> In terms of cost, prices are initially based on a decent wage for the  artist who will spend time not just physically painting the picture, but  they bring their experience to ensuring the image created is cohesive  and complete. &nbsp;Time will be spent assessing and reworking the image  until the moment when it 'works'.<br /> <br /> Obviously as a self employed artist, they must also include cost of  materials and overheads in their pricing.
